Upon arrival at Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll along Nizami Street, a vibrant pedestrian avenue known for its eclectic architecture, boutiques, cafes, and lively atmosphere.
After breakfast, embark on a journey to Gabala, located approximately 225 km northwest of Baku. En route, visit the Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza, a 15th-century monument built into a cliffside, and the Juma Mosque in Shamakhi, one of the oldest mosques in the Caucasus.
Before reaching Gabala, stop at the Essenso Lavender Fields, where you can admire the purple blooms, learn about lavender cultivation, and sample products like aromatic oils and lavender honey. The best time to visit is between late May and late June. [1]
